STO ADVISOR

Kate Wold has been a proud WA State Board Member since 2020. She works as the Theatre Teacher and Drama Club Advisor at Eastlake High School, Troupe 5687. She is also an Adjunct Instructor through Central Washington University for Introduction to Theatre. Kate runs the Theatre Teachers in WA Facebook group, hoping to build community between theatre teachers in the state of Washington.

Dallas Myers (he/him) has been fortunate enough to teach Theatre in Oregon and Washington since 2010. He served on the Oregon Thespians State Board for 5 years and is happy to dive into working with Washington Thespians as a Co-STO Chair. He is the Troupe Director and Theatre Teacher at Olympia High School, Troupe 2933, Go Bears! Dallas spent several years as a company member with Bag & Baggage Productions in Hillsboro, Oregon focusing mostly on outdoor Shakespeare performance. He loves learning about new ideas for teaching all aspects of theatre!

Hey Thespians! My name is Kiseki Baker (she/her), class of 2027 at The Overlake School in Redmond. I’ve been part of the theatre community since I was 3, instantly falling in love with classes and camps. Now, at 16, I have been in 21 productions! Some of my favorites have been Eurydice in Hadestown, Donkey in Shrek, Cinderella in Into the Woods, and Wednesday Addams in The Addams Family! I use theatre as a way to unapologetically take up space, share stories, and to be vulnerable with strangers in a way I never thought I could. As someone living with Type One Diabetes since they were one, theatre has been my constant source of stability and a way to process tough emotions. Hi Thespians! My name is Maya Ben-Ari (she/her), and I am in Cedarcrest High School’s troupe 7628, class of 2027. Whether it has been watching from the crowd or being up on the stage, theatre has been a pivotal part of my high school life. Since moving to Washington in my freshman year and being on my school officer team, Thespian Society has allowed me to find and make some of the best friends I have ever had, and some of the best memories I have ever made. When I’m not at rehearsals, you can find me reading comics in my room, listening to Lady Gaga, and trying to teach my dog tricks. As an STO, I hope to help create and maintain a feeling of belonging and community for my fellow Thespians!

Hi! I’m Lily Bridger. Being in this program means so much to me, because I’ve always had a passion for the performing arts. I’m super excited to make a difference in the educational theater community!  Being in theater for almost 9 years has been the best experience of my life. I’ve done everything from acting and singing, to directing, to hair and makeup design! I especially love performing and the marketing aspect of theater. When I’m not doing theater, I love to spend time with my dog Pookie or volunteer at my church. I’d like to thank my mom for her constant support and my amazing thespian troupe!

Hello! My name is Helen Davis, and I am a junior at Hanford High School Thespian Troupe #3183. I live in Richland, WA, and have always loved performing since I was little! I started performing with a dance company in Portland, Oregon, around the age of 4, and have continued ever since! I have always thought of it as a strong outlet for your emotions and a way to share your talent with the world. My favorite memory of performing was being cast in Legally Blonde The Musical. It was always so thrilling to perform with some of my favorite upperclassmen at school before they graduated! If I am not in rehearsal or performing, you can always find me shopping in the mall with my best friends! I am so excited to serve as an STO this year!

Hello fellow artists! My name is Henry Jackson (he/him/his) and I attend North Central High School troupe 8818, class of 2027! Singing has always been an important aspect about my life, fostering joy, artistic freedom, and connection to myself. So, when I found theatre my freshman year at North Central, I discovered that I could accomplish so much more by combining acting with my love for singing. What I discovered was nothing short of a miracle, as I found a community that expects bold choices and unique attributes. This community has only grown beneficially since then, and due to that, I am filled with immense gratitude. As an STO, I'm proud to represent low - income title 1 schools, advocating for equity, support, and a positive environment for all Thespians. Hi! I’m Liam Kendall, class of 2027 at Olympia High School (Troupe 2933) and I am beyond thrilled to be a State Thespian Officer for 2026-2027!! I have been doing theater since second grade and I am currently the Vice President of OHS Drama Club. My favorite role has definitely been Selsdon/The Burglar in Noises Off!, but I’ve also enjoyed playing Lord Evelyn Oakleigh in Anything Goes and Duke Orsino in Twelfth Night. Music is truly one of my favorite things on this planet — in my free time, I’m usually playing guitar or listening to music. I also play violin with both my school symphony orchestra and the Student Orchestras of Greater Olympia. Hi Thespians! My name is Luke Tan (He/Him), I’m a proud member of Eastlake High School troupe 5687, and I’m overjoyed to be one of your STOs this year! I’ve always loved theater, but I only truly joined the community when I first entered high school, and I haven’t looked back ever since. My troupe has been like a second family to me and the theater is practically a second home. I love being able to give back to this community as an STO. As an STO I hope that everyone can find the same sense of belonging I found, meeting new people, exploring theatre, and following what they love. On top of theatre, I enjoy photography, reading and baking, feel free to talk to me about anything!
